About Hollymead House
A family-run care home where people feel known, supported and genuinely at home.
Hollymead House provides residential and respite care in a warm, welcoming environment where comfort, companionship and personalised support come first.

Our story
Family-run care since 2000.
For more than two decades, Hollymead House has provided a warm, welcoming environment where residents receive personalised support, companionship and genuine care.
Our beginnings
Hollymead House originally opened as a nursing home, providing care and support for older people within the local community.
Family ownership
The Martin family took ownership of Hollymead House and established the home as a residential care setting built around dignity, kindness and personalised care.
Continuing to grow
Ongoing investment in the home, facilities and care environment ensures residents enjoy comfortable surroundings alongside experienced, compassionate support.
While the home has evolved over the years, our philosophy remains unchanged: every resident should feel safe, valued, respected and genuinely at home.
A home first, care always.
Everything we do is guided by a simple principle: exceptional care begins with making people feel safe, valued and genuinely at home.
Supporting residents to maintain routines, choices and confidence wherever possible.
Creating meaningful friendships, conversation and social connection every day.
Tailored support that recognises every resident as an individual with their own story.
